Cyberbullying
Some Top Tips for Parents
Be alert to your child seeming upset after using the internet or their mobile phone
Talk to your children about how they are using phones and the internet and try to keep up!
Make sure you are using built in internet safety features
Remind your child not to retaliate (it does not help and the child being bullied may then be seen as a bully and some bullying can involve the police and criminal action)
Keep any evidence (instinctively you may wish to delete; a solution is to cut and paste into a document and save with further evidence)
Report cyberbullying (it is subversive and not harmless)
